Journeys into bliss

That others might call sin

Journeys with the child

We know resides within


Journeys into realms

That others cannot find

Into sacred places

Locked deep within the mind


Journeys that make us laugh

And those that make us cry

Journeys we take in life

And those after we die


Journeys we take alone

And those we take with friends

The memories that we make

While this journey never ends


Journeys in the dark

And others that we see

The author, Virgil Zee, is originally from Harrisburg Pennsylvania and currently resides in West Virginia.  The journey of his life took him in a different direction than most of his peers.  Sometimes, it was hard to discern why, but in the end it all made sense.  He found that at any given time, he was exactly where he needed to be, meeting those he needed to meet.  The good and the bad. He's lived among the homeless, spent time in cages and padded rooms, wined and dined with millionaires, and broken bread with convicted murderers, and even, sadly, saw people shot down in cold blood.  He's also experienced moments of great, joy, wonder, and amazement. All these unique experiences, and the feelings he, and others felt, are reflected in his writing.
